Roundel necklace.

Art jewellery celebrating Frank O. Gehry's 2008 stunning redesign and reconstruction of the Art Gallery of Ontario.

The Roundel necklace honours one of the oldest parts of the AGO building, Walker Court,built in 1926. While many people remember when Lothar Baumgarten's frieze Monument for the Native People of Ontario, 1984-85, once interspersed each roundel, the roundels now cohabitate with Frank Gehry's Spiral Staircase, which too can be seen as sculpture, as much as architecture.
